CHEVALIER ROSE+CROIX
Paix aux Chevaliers Rose+Croix !
Le Christ nous ouvre les bras,
Et parle encore, nous appelle,
Suspendu entre terre et ciel.
Allons sans arme ni bagage
De par le monde ; les sages
Ne s’accrochent pas aux raisons
Ni aux fruits de leurs actions.
Qui comble les pèlerins
De joie à la porte du Bien ?
Près de l’Autre, son Prochain,
La source ne se tarit point.
Qui précède l’intense chaleur
Du rayonnement intérieur,
L’équinoxe, le solstice,
L’ offrande, le sacrifice ?
Les voies de l’étoile, de la fleur,
Procèdent de l’esprit et du cœur,
De l’amitié, la concorde,
Du pardon, la miséricorde.
Les hommes de Dieu, les Artistes,
Sont les Frères des Alchimistes,
Vivent à l’ombre de l’univers
Dans le travail et la prière.
Dès qu’un symbole leur fait signe,
L’Aigle en eux fond sur son insigne,
La terre fixe le volatil
Sans le rendre muet et docile.
La Colombe descelle les mots
Loin des plumes noires des corbeaux ;
De l’encre parée de nos maux
Sous la férule de l’ego.
De son bec le Pélican
En son nid se perce les flancs,
De son sang nourrit ses petits,
Par essence la vie de la vie.
L’œuvre se poursuit sans attendre,
Le Phénix renaît de ses cendres ;
Par le feu tout s’est accompli
Et le cycle se reproduit.
L’esprit se glisse, s’interpose,
Entre une raison d’être et sa cause ;
Une vérité, deux reflets,
Nous préparent à la Trinité.
Tout relie l’être vertueux
A la Nature, mère des dieux,
Conjugue la force, la prudence,
La justice, la tempérance.
Une tension monte du fond de soi,
Fait vibrer l’orgue de la Foi,
Les accords nés d’une présence
Au foyer de l’Espérance.
Nos mains sont tendues pour donner
Par Amour et par Charité ;
La pierre angulaire a livré
A l’éther l’Etre délivré.
Un dernier regard, à la fin,
Fait de Lui l’ultime témoin,
Avant d’embrasser Son mystère
Et d’entrer dans Sa lumière.

Peace to the Knights Rose+Croix !
The Christ opens us arms,
And still speaks, calls us,
Suspended between earth and sky.
Let us go without weapon nor luggage
Throughout the world ; the wise men
Do not cling to the reasons
Nor to the fruits of their actions.
Who fills the pilgrims
Of enjoyment by the door of the Good ?
Near the Other one, his Fellow man,
The spring does not dry up.
Who precedes the intense heat
Of the internal radiation,
The equinox, the solstice,
The offering, the sacrifice ?
The ways of the star, of the flower,
Proceed of the spirit and the heart,
The friendship, the harmony,
The forgiveness, the mercy.
The men of God, the Artists,
Are the Brothers of the Alchemists,
Live in the shade of the universe
In the work and the prayer.
As soon as a symbol makes for them sign,
The Eagle in them bottom on its badge,
The earth fixes the volatile
Without making it dumb and docile.
The Dove unseals the words
Far from the black feathers of ravens ;
From some ink adorned with our troubles
Under the ferule of the ego.
With its beak the Pelican
In its nest drills sides,
With its blood feeds its youngs,
By definition the life of the life.
The work continues without waiting,
The Phoenix is reborn of its ashes ;
By the fire everything came true
And the cycle reproduces.
The spirit skips, intervenes,
Between a reason for being and its cause ;
One truth, two reflections,
Prepare us for the Trinity.
Everything connects the virtuous being
To the Nature, the mother of the gods,
Conjugates the strength, the caution,
The justice, the temperance.
A tension rises from the bottom of oneself,
Makes vibrate the organ of the Faith,
The agreements arose from a presence
In the hearth of the Hope.
Our hands are tightened to give
With Amur and Charity ;
The angular stone has left
To the ether the delivered Being.
A last glance, at the end,
Makes of Him the ultimate witness,
Before taking in Its mystery
And entering Its light.
